David L. Watson, 47, of Freeport, died Friday, September 3, 2010, at his home.
Born May 8, 1963 in Freeport he was the son of Jesse Watson and Shirley Kerr.
He is survived by his Father, Jesse Watson and his stepmother, Linda Watson both of Freeport; his grandmother, Vera Peska of Freeport; his sister, Diane (Brian) Swanstrom of Baileyville; his nieces, Brittany and Brianne Swanstrom of Baileyville; and his special friend, Sandy McCarthy of Freeport; 2 step-sisters, Tammy Stichter and Teresa (Steve) Whalen; 2 step nieces, Miranda and Lindsey Stichter; 2 step nephews, Riley and Griffen Whalen all of Freeport.
He was preceded in death by his mother; maternal grandparents; and his paternal grandfather.
Cremation rites have been accorded.
Memorial services will be Tuesday 11 a.m. at Walker Mortuary with Reverend Gardy Cronk of Zion Church officiating.
There will be a gathering of family and friends Monday evening from 5 to 7 p.m. at Walker Mortuary.
A memorial has been established in his name.
