Freeport
Dean M. Fargher, 88, of Freeport, died Saturday, November 24, 2007, at FHN Memorial Hospital.
Born December 1, 1918 in Kewanee he was the son of Daniel and Jennie (Taggert) Fargher. He married Twila Murray on August 4, 1945.
He worked for Quaker Oats, Rath Packing Company, and Protein Blenders from which he retired.
Surviving is his wife, Twila of Freeport; four sons, David (Debra) Fargher of Pecatonica, Larry Fargher, Randy Fargher, and Tim Fargher all of Freeport; one brother, Dale (Mary) Fargher of Kewanee; three grandchildren; and three great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; two sons, Daniel and Bruce Fargher; two brothers, Morris and David Fargher.
Funeral service will be Monday 2 p.m. at Walker Mortuary with Reverend Justin Mapes of Trinity United Methodist Church officiating. Burial will be in the Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens.
