Obituary
Deanna Alyce Lieber, 77, of Freeport, died Wednesday, September 24, 2014, at Presence St. Joseph Nursing Center.
Born February 8, 1937 in Freeport she was the daughter of Fred and Evelyn (Young) Weipert. She married William J. Lieber July 31, 1955 and he died February 20, 1985.
Deanna worked for Stover Steel Tanks, City of Freeport, and Freeport Continental Cable.
She was a member of First Lutheran Church.
Surviving are her children, William W. (Cheryl) Lieber of Freeport; Rebecca J. (Dale) Jacobs of Freeport; Grandchildren Brynn D. (Joe) Lieber- Hallstrom of Lena, Brandon W. Lieber and Adam J. Jacobs both of Freeport; great grandchildren, Madison Lieber and Guilianna Hallstrom.
She was preceded in death by her parents and husband.
Cremation rites will be accorded.
Memorial services will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday, September 27, 2014 at First Lutheran Church.
In lieu of flowers a memorial has been established in her name.
