Debra L. Rehfeld, 62, of Freeport, died Wednesday, September 30, 2015, at her home.
Born December 21, 1952 in Freeport she was the daughter of Leroy and Marilyn (Michaels) Wirtjes. She married Gary W. Rehfeld May 10, 1975.
Debra worked for Banker Mutual and Economy Insurance Companies.
Debra's faith was very important to her. She was a member of First Baptist Church where she sang in the choir.
An avid piano player she loved music her entire life. She also enjoyed artwork, gardening, and sewing where she won the "Dress a Doll" contest.
Surviving are her mother, Marilyn (Paul) Wolfe of Freeport; her husband, Gary of Freeport; her daughter, Kathy ( Pastor Joe) Leverton of Monroe, Wisconsin; her brother, David (Shirley) Wirtjes; 4 grandchildren, Zoey, Isaac, Jacob, and Josiah Leverton all of Monroe, Wisconsin.
She was preceded in death by her father; and one brother, Duane.
Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, October 6, 2015 at Walker Mortuary with her son-in-law, Pastor Joe Leverton officiating.
Visitation will be 4 to 7 p.m. Monday, October 5, 2015, at Walker Mortuary.
Burial will be in the Oakland Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers a memorial has been established in her name.
