Deborah VanDeMark , 52 of Freeport, IL, died on Friday, November 15, 2019 after a brave fight with cancer. Deborah was born October 22, 1967 in Rockford, IL, the daughter of Shirley (Marty) Brubaker and Roy (Carolee) VanDeMark. Deborah was a 1985 graduate of Freeport High School, after which Deborah lived in FL, OH, then back to Freeport, working various jobs and making numerous good friends along the way. Deborah was always upbeat, making others smile. Recent fun activities include ATV riding with Val & Pete, getting together with friends after 34 years and going to the Pines/B-day party/sleepovers/hotel stay with friends. Survivors include her mother and dad, Shirley and Marty Brubaker; father, Roy (Carolee) VanDeMark; sisters, Chris Lee, Val (Pete) Farnsworth; and nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles & cousins. Deborah was preceded in death by all grandparents. Thanks to her great friends for being there and her wonderful caregivers and friends, Tammy, Heather & Kathy. Also thanks for the love and support she received from her church family at Bethany UCC and the care from Monroe Clinic Hospice. The funeral service will be held on Saturday, November 23 ^rd at 11:00 a.m. at Bethany UCC in Freeport with a visitation beginning at 9:00 a.m. Interment will take place at St. Anne's Cemetery in Warren, IL.
