Deloris J. (Stabenow) Klipping , 87 of Casa Grande, AZ, passed away Jan. 5, 2021 at her daughter's home, surrounded by family. Deloris was born Feb. 7, 1933 in Jones County, Iowa. She was born at home on the family farm to Leroy and Nannie (McQuerry) Stabenow. On May 9, 1953 she married the love of her life, Donald Klipping at First Lutheran Church in Freeport, IL. Don passed May, 2013.

Deloris was educated at Winslow and Orangeville Schools, graduating from Orangeville High School, Valedictorian of her class.

She worked at Fairbanks Morse as a secretary for many years. (She always was reminiscing about taking shorthand for her boss there.) Later in life she worked for Sears Robuck & Company in the auditing department for 18 years.

Deloris had a heart of gold and an infectious smile. She always sent birthday cards, anniversary cards – never forgetting anyone! She was there in time of need to help others always. She enjoyed cooking and baking and sharing her goods. Especially at Christmas time, she was quite generous with her baking and shared with family, friends and neighbors. She was known for making the best peanut brittle in town!

She was a devoted wife (married 60 years to her husband, Don) and mother. Family was #1! After her husband, Don, retired from Honeywell they did extensive traveling in their motorhome. They wintered in AZ and also FL.

They also spent 17 years spending weekends and summer vacations at their trailer on Lake Kegonsa, Stoughton, WI. There they enjoyed boating, swimming, fishing and during the winter snowmobiling.

In Oct. 2016, Deloris moved to AZ to live with her daughter, Sherrie. Deloris will be sadly missed by her family and friends. Especially her 9 year old great grandson, Zander. They spent endless hours together and had a very special love for one another. She will now be with her heavenly family and friends for eternity.

Surviving are her daughter, Sherrie Klipping of Casa Grande, AZ; granddaughter, Katina (Tyler) Knoup; great grandson, Zander Knoup all of Coolidge, AZ; grandson, Britton Dole of Mesa, AZ; her sister, Loretta (John) Uhlar of Stillman Valley, IL; sister-in-law, Lorraine Stabenow of Rock City, IL; and many nieces and nephews on the Klipping and Stabenow sides. Preceding her in death were her parents, Leroy & Nannie Stabenow; brother, Howard Stabenow; and loving husband, Don.

A private service will be held Tuesday, January 19 ^th at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Peace at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens in Freeport, IL. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established in her name. Memorials can be mailed or dropped off at Walker Mortuary, 321 W. Main St., Freeport, IL 61032.
