Deloris Ford was born to the union of Diamond Ford and Georgia Wright in Natchez, Mississippi on April 24, 1951. She remained in Natchez, Mississippi until she was a teenager and that is when she and her mother, Georgia moved to Chicago, IL.

Deloris attended John Marshall High School where she received her high school diploma. It was there she met Charles Edward Bailey. The two married in 1971 in Oxnard, California on December 1, 1973. Their one and only child, Tina P. Bailey was born. The family later moved to Charlotte, North Carolina and after several years Deloris and Tina returned to Chicago, IL.

Deloris worked as a Dialysis Technician in a managerial position. She retired after 20 years. She remained in Chicago and met and married Sidney Miles. The two then moved to Freeport, IL. After 7 years along with Deloris' daughter.

Deloris passed away on Sunday, January 7, 2024 at FHN Memorial Hospital in Freeport.

Services will be held on Tuesday, January 16, 2024 at 12:00 p.m. at the Freeport Church of Christ. There will be a visitation before the service beginning at 11:00 a.m. The burial will take place at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens in Freeport. A memorial fund has been established in her name.
