Delta Mooney, 84, of Freeport, died Thursday, April 4, 2013, at Stephenson Nursing Center.
Born November 1, 1928 in Freeport she was the daughter of Clarence and Mildred (Ottenhausen) Pfile. She married John Harnish Jr. in 1945 and he died in 1956. She married Henry Lillge in 1961 and he died in 1974.
Delta worked for Burgess Battery for almost 20 years and then for Micro Switch.
Surviving are her children, Paulette Pfile and Mike Harnish, both of Freeport, Patricia (Allan) Fransen of Pensecola, Florida, Diane (Lamoine) DeSpain of Freeport, and Donna (Bennett) Bratley of Kingman, AZ; 19 grandchildren; several great grandchildren; and five great great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husbands; her daughter, Pamela Wise; her great grandson, Norman Cain III; two brothers; two sisters; and her son-in-law Lester Pfile.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday, April 9, 2013 at Gospel Outreach with Pastor Steve Gearing officiating.
Friends may call Tuesday 9 a.m. until time of service at the church.
Burial will be in the Dakota Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers a memorial has been established in her name.
