Dennis G. Potter, age 64 of Ridott, IL, passed away Tuesday, March 13, 2018 at Rockford Memorial Hospital. He was born August 17, 1953 in Monroe, WI; the son of Thomas and the late Marlene (Millard) Potter. He graduated from Parkview High School in Orfordville, WI. Dennis married Jacqueline Carr on November 17, 1973 in Footville, WI.

He retired from Kelly Springfield and continued to work at Titan Tire for a total of 44 years. His hobby was Garden Tractor Pulling and was a member of the Mississippi Valley Garden Tractor Pullers Association. He also enjoyed vacationing on cruises and was an avid Green Bay Packer fan.

Dennis is survived by his wife, Jacqueline Potter of Ridott; father, Thomas Potter of Orfordville, WI; daughters, Celeste Townsend of Savanna, IL and Angelica (Mickey) Ernst of Fond Du Lac, WI; grandchildren, Josey, Aiden, Oriana, and Gavin; sisters, Joan (Bob) Cash and Peggy (Brian) Lehman; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his mother, Marlene and infant granddaughter, Farrah Potter.
