Dolores M. Pfeiffer, age 87 of Freeport, IL, passed away Sunday, July 9, 2017 at Waverly Place in Stockton, IL. She was born September 29, 1929; the daughter of the late William and Rena (Fransen) Heilman Sr. She attended Freeport Schools through the 9th grade. She married James J. Pfeiffer on March 11, 1950; he died November 22, 1966. Dolores worked for Kautenberg Mop Factory for 48 years. She loved spending time with her family.
She is survived by her son, Michael (Jennifer) Pfeiffer of Tehachapi, CA; daughter, Cindy K. Deen of Chicago, IL; 5 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren; sister, Nancy Gill of Freeport; brothers, Gerald Heilman and Ronald (Carol) Heilman both of Freeport; and sister-in-law, Margie Heilman of Freeport. She was preceded in death by her parents; Husband, James; infant son, James Lee; brothers, William Heilman Jr., Bob Heilman, John Heilman, and Donald Heilman; and sister, Dorothy Heilman.
The funeral service will be held Saturday, July 15, 2017 at 11:00 am at Walker Mortuary in Freeport. There will be a visitation before the service beginning at 10:00 am. Interment will take place at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens in Freeport. A memorial fund has been established in her name
