Dolores Irene Ward, 94 passed away peacefully on Tuesday, May 7th at River Bluff Nursing Home in Rockford where she had been a resident for the past 2 years.  She was born March 28th, 1930 to Lester and Emma (Lind) Winnie in South Beloit, IL.  Living primarily in the Durand area, she was a homemaker and did several odd jobs.

She is survived by daughters, Carol Boan of Ridott; Becky (Gary) Pederson of Durand and son, Carl Jr. of Loran; 6 grandchildren, Jennifer (Tom) Dailey of Morrison, CO; Patrick (Jennifer) Lyons of Thornton, CO; Richard (Debbie) Lyons of Catawba, NC; Carrie (Ron) Martz of Juda, WI; Tracy Bolen of Texas and Jamie (Jason) Schmidt of Dixon, IL.  She also has 13 great grandchildren and 13 great great grandchildren.

She is predeceased by her parents, her husband, Carl Ward Sr.; Sisters, Florence Udell and Mary Helen Winnie; her daughter, Kristine Blake, daughter-in-law, Donna Ward, son-in-laws, Tom Boan, Darryl Blake and great great grandson, Kyler.

Cremation rites have been accorded and there will be a private family graveside service at Roscoe Cemetery with the Reverend Mark Vlad officiating at a later date. Condolences can be shared with the family at www.walkermortuary.com.
