Dolores Ann (Freund) Weber, age 84 of Freeport, IL, passed away on Monday, June 8, 2026 from cancer at her residence. She was born January 19, 1942 in McHenry, IL; the daughter of Herbert and Florence (Huff) Freund. Dolores graduated from McHenry High School in 1960.
She married the love of her life, Daniel Weber on June 18, 1960. She then had 6 children: Diane, Cynthia, James, Daniel, Valerie, and Jennifer. She then adopted 3 children later in life and raised them as if they were her own.
She worked as a farm wife and later on as an assistant for caring for the elderly and then at Malcom Eaton. She enjoyed being a wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. Foremost she always made sure everyone was fed and well cared for. She never put herself first. Family and her Catholic religion were her number one priority.
She is survived by her son, David Weber; daughters, Diane Weber, Valerie (Mike) Williams, and Jennifer (Adam) Meador; grandchildren, Elisia Boland, Erich Weber, Brandon (Ashley) Souders, Krystin Weber, Jordan (Payton) Reyes, Kylie (Chris) Fernandez, and Ryan Williams; great grandchildren, Ethan Weber, Ashton Weber, Jaida Weber, Jermany Edwards, Zoey Edwards, Destiny Edwards, Azalea Souders, Ayva Felton, Hayden Fernandez, Jaxon Fernandez, Liam Fernandzez. Heidi Williams, and Nova Williams; and brother, Robert Freund of McHenry, IL.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Herbert and Florence; husband, Daniel Weber; son, James Weber; and daughter, Cynthia Weber.
The funeral will be held on Friday, June 19, 2026 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Thomas of Aquinas Catholic Church in Freeport, IL. There will be a visitation before the service beginning at 9:30 a.m. Interment will take place at Calvary Cemetery in Freeport. A memorial fund has been established in her name.
