Donald A. Flack, 70, of Rock City died Thursday April 19, 2012 at home surrounded by his family. Born January 2, 1942 on a farm in Stockton he was the son of Robert and Helen (Dittmar) Flack. He was a graduate of Freeport High School, and then went into the United States Navy. For many years Don worked for T.R. Machine of Davis. He enjoyed the outdoors gardening, camping and hiking, but most of all spending time with his grandchildren. Surviving are three sons Jason Flack of Rock City, Wade (Denise) Flack of Rock City, Jeffrey Flack of Freeport; two daughters Jessica (Darin) Peight of Lena, Jenni (Troy) Hepler of Nashville, TN; seven grandchildren Tonya, Noah, Orion, Owen, Alivea, Chloe and Riley; three brothers Bob (Juanita) Flack of Reno, NV, Roger Flack of Freeport, Jerry (Lyn) Flack of Freeport; sister Kathy Becker of Phoenix, AZ; many nieces and nephews. Preceding him in death were his parents. Private family services will be held. Cremation rites will be accorded. Daughenbaugh Funeral Home, Dakota is assisting the family.
