Mesa, Arizona- Donna M. Dickinson, 48, of Mesa, formerly of Freeport, went home to be with the Lord, Sunday August 31, 2003 at the Banner Gardens Hospice in Mesa, Arizona.
Born January 18, 1955 in Freeport she was the daughter of Ronald and Eileen (Hull) Dickinson.
She worked for Honeywell Micro Switch in Freeport but also for Motorola and A.B.B. both in Florida.
An avid NASCAR fan (she especially liked Jeff Gordon) she also enjoyed fishing and loved her dogs.
Surviving are her father, Ronald Dickinson of Iowa; one brother, Dennis (Leah) Dickinson of Mesa, Arizona; Grandmother, Frances Dickinson of Freeport; two nephews and one niece in Mesa, Arizona.
She was preceded in death by her mother; grandparents, George and Sadie Hull; Grandfather, Virgil Dickinson.
Donna was a most loving and caring friend to all who knew her. She will be greatly missed by Gran Dickinson, her many special friends and her family.
Cremation rites have been accorded.
Memorial services will be Saturday 10:30 a.m. at Walker Mortuary with Reverend Joseph A. Warner of Orangeville United Methodist Church officiating.
There will be no visitation.
Interment of her cremated remains will be in the Grandview Cemetery in Freeport.
A memorial has been established in her name.
