Donna F. Quick

Donna F. Quick of Savanna/Dakota IL. passed away peacefully with family by her side on August 17, 2026. From a short but courageous battle with lung cancer. She was born in Hazel Green WI on July 21,1947 to Edward and Charlotte Paul of New Diggings WI. 

She was preceded in death by her parents along 4 siblings Darlene, Dwayne, Dale & Dorthy. She is survived by a brother Larry Crimmins of Arizona and her children Tim (Jeri ) Quick, Laura (David) Bremmer all of Dakota, Danielle Bissell (Mike) Nelson of Freeport. Her grandchildren Jenny (Steve), Robby (Jackie) Tiffany, TJ (LeLe) Briana, Derrick (Skye), Brancyn & Brylee, Great Grandchildren Ashtian, Aydian, Isabella, Elee’, Warner, Braxton & Valeriah, step great grandchildren Annabeya, Aydia, David & MJ. Donna always put family first. She had so many special moments with her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. 

Donna was a loving, caring Mother, Gramma and friend. One of her greatest gifts was being a surrogate mother for best friend Sharon (Butch)Bissell. ♥️She retired from Elkay (formerly Halsey Taylor), she was a bartender at The VFW Savanna (until they closed) and presently at The Savanna Moose lodge, Donna has made so many amazing friends throughout her life and they were all very important to her. We would like to say a special thanks to Dave and Jeanne Law for being great friends to our Mom!! ♥️And to the many others she has made along the way. Also, great appreciation to FHN ICU & Telemetry Nurses & Drs along with Serenity of Lena nursing staff you are amazing humans!! 

There will be a luncheon to celebrate Donna's life following the burial at the Dakota Community Center (formerly the Lions Club) 207 West St. Dakota, Il 61018
