Dorothy Barber, 73, of Dakota died Friday May 20, 2011 at FHN Memorial Hospital in Freeport. Born July 7, 1937 at Fort Madison, IA, she was the daughter of Doyle and May (Schwartz) Dietsch. Dorothy worked for Shannon Nursing Home, Tri District Ambulance and retired from Private Nursing assistance. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, her flowers and mowing her lawn. Surviving are two sons, Rodney (Amanda) Snodgrass of Ridgecrest, CA, Charles "Chuck" (Cathy) Garner of Rock City; one daughter Rena (Tim) Eden of Stockton; 9 grandchildren, 10 Great grandchildren; brothers Darrell (Dixie) Dietsch of Milledgeville, Doyle (Kathy) Dietsch of Las Vegas, NV, Dennis Dietsch of Laplata, MO., Nieces and nephews. Preceding her were parents; husbands Musker Snodgrass, Leo Garner and James Barber; two sons Randy Snodgrass and Ricky Snodgrass; one granddaughter Casey Ann Garner; two sisters Daisy and Delma; two brothers Dwight and Daniel.
