Beavercreek, Ohio – Dorothy "Dottie" M. Emo longtime resident of Freeport and Cedarville, IL passed away from natural causes on November 3, 2025 in Beavercreek, Ohio.

Dottie, the youngest daughter of Ira Pease and Mabel (Tallmadge/Kelly) Pease, was born in Vandalia, MO in 1935.  She married Lorenz (Bill) Emo on December 27, 1953.  He passed on February 14, 2009.

Dottie moved to Freeport, Il in 1961 with Bill.  They were active members in the Freeport First United Methodist Church for many years.  Dottie was an amazing cook and helped with many funeral luncheons and ham loaf dinners at church.

Dorothy is survived by her children, Stephen Emo of Ohio; Kevin Emo of Florida; Janet Carr of Arkansas, Kelly Emo of Florida and Juli Bauscher of North Carolina.  Dorothy was the proud grandmother of 10 and more than a dozen great grandchildren and growing.

Dorothy was preceded in death by her parents, 11 brothers and sisters and her husband of 54 years, Lorenz (Bill) Emo.
