Dorothy A. Wagner, 87, of Freeport, died Wednesday, May 25, 2011, at Lena Living Center in Lena.
Born December 3, 1923 she was the daughter of Arthur and Watry Stoltzman. Dorothy married Rex W. Wagner August 16, 1942 and he died October 25, 1989.
Dorothy worked for Economy Insurance for more than 30 years.
She was a member of Our Redeemer Lutheran Church.
Surviving are 3 grandsons, Christopher (Rassny) Homer of Freeport, Shawn (Shauna Heck) Homer of Cedarville, and Todd Wagner; 2 great grandchildren, Melana and Conlan Homer both of Freeport.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Rex W. Wagner; daughter, Karen Homer; her son, Charles Wagner; and 1 brother, Don Stoltzman.
Funeral service will be Tuesday, June 2, 2011 at 1:30 p.m. at Our Redeemer Lutheran Church.
Visitation will be Tuesday 12 noon until time of service at Church.
Burial will be in the Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens.
In lieu of flowers a memorial has been established for Friends Forever Humane Society.
