Dorrie Ann Pearson, 54, of Freeport, died Thursday, October 31, 2013, at her home.
Born April 21, 1959 in Ottawa she is the daughter of Herb Comer and Sheila Sarver.
She married Greg A. Pearson April 22, 1978.
Dorrie owned and operated Pearson's Penny Pinch in downtown Freeport
She was a member of Crossroads Community Church.
Surviving is her immediate family, husband Greg of Freeport; her daughters, Brandy (Jeff) Brown of Forreston and Mischelle Pearson of Freeport; her son, Gregory Pearson of Forreston; and five grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents.
Cremation rites will be accorded.
Memorial services will be 11 a.m. Saturday, November 9, 2013, at First United Methodist Church in Forreston.
A memorial has been established in her name.
