Dakota – Earl M. Judd, 88 passed way peacefully at Parkview Home in Freeport on October 31, 2025.  He was born on August 31, 1937 to Dewitt and Iona Pearl (Wallace) Judd.  He married Barbara Halbin on August 24, 1957.  She passed in 2021.

He enjoyed farming his entire life, polka dancing, showing sheep, watching the Chicago Bears, White Sox, Western shows and movies on the TV. He was a part of the Forreston Sheep Breeders and the DHIA.

He is survived by his children, Steve (Kathy) Judd of Ridott; Kevin Judd of Durand; Greg (Melissa) Judd of Aberdeen, NC and Stacy (Bryan) Wishard of Ridott.

His grandchildren include Ryan Judd, Erin Price, Heather Fulara, Josh Wishard, Kayla Shoemaker and Diana Judd.  His legacy also includes 18 great grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Barbara; and sister, Nancy Hawbaker.

There will be a visitation on Saturday, November 15, 2025 at 10am followed by an 11am service all at Daughenbaugh Funeral Home in Dakota, Illinois.
