Earl Theodore Sager, Jr. passed away at Highview in the Woodlands in Rockton, Il after a 22 year battle with Parkinson's Disease.

"Mick" as he was known by most was born in Freeport April 26, 1943 to Earl and Leona (Herbig) Sager.

He was a 1961 graduate of Freeport High School in 1961.

He served in the U.S. Army from January 1964- through December of 1966.

He married Sandra Hammer on September 16, 1967.

He graduated from Milwaukee School of Engineering in 1971 with a degree in Electrical Engineering.

He was employed by Commonwealth Edison in Rockford, Il and the Byron Nuclear Station retiring in 1999.

He was a member of Park Hills Evangelical Church in Freeport.

He enjoyed spending time in the outdoors hunting and fishing.

Surviving are his wife, Sandra (Hammer) Sager of Freeport, Son, Tyler (Dani) Sager of Indianapolis, IN and daughter Kelly (Brent) Wells of Sun Prairie, WI.  Three grandchildren Caleb Wells, Abby Wells and Felix Sager.  Brother, Dean (Sandra) Sager and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents and Father and Mother-in-law.

Burial will be at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens.  Private family services will be held.
