Freeport - Eileen C. Olloff, 96, of Freeport passed away at Liberty Village on October 25, 2024.  Eileen was born on October 16, 1928 and grew up in Rossville, IA to Guy and Clara (Hanson) Leas.  She graduated from Waterville High School.  Eileen married Cornelius (Nee, Ole) Olloff on November 1, 1947.  They enjoyed road trips to Arizona to visit her brother, LeRoy, Elks Conventions, dancing at the Mercury Ballroom, playing cards, baking cookies, and knitting for the Prayer Shawl Ministry.  Besides being a homemaker, Eileen worked at the Lansing Iowa Button factory, was a part of the secretarial pool at WT Rawleigh Co., and Swiss Colony Data Entry Center.  She was also a member of Second Presbyterian Church.

Eileen is survived by her son, Daniel (Dorie) Olloff of Freeport; and her sister, Joyce (Lowell) Siegle of McGregor, IA.  Her legacy also includes her grandchildren:  Todd (Katie) Olloff, Andrew (Suzanne) Olloff, Cassidy (Ryan) Melton, Caitlyn (Josh) DeWall, and Chad Hefner.  Great Grandchildren include; Finley, Oliver, Turner, Teegan, Laykin, Chandler and Demi. She also leaves behind many nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Cornelius; a daughter, Lori; brothers, Loren and LeRoy Leas; sisters-in-law, Donna Leas and Clarice Leas.

There will be a visitation on Friday, November 1, 2024 beginning at 11am at Walker Mortuary and a service to follow at 12pm also at Walker Mortuary.  Eileen joins her husband at Chapel Hill Cemetery in Freeport, Il on their 77th Wedding Anniversary.  A memorial has been established in her name.  Her family would like to thank the Memory Care Unit at Liberty Village for caring for Eileen with such kindness and respect.
