Obituary
Freeport-Eileen A. Polchow, 80, of Freeport, died Friday, November 26, 2004, at FHN Memorial Hospital.
Born December 24, 1923 in Scioto Mills she was the daughter of George and Viro (Schulz) Ilgen. She married Benjamin F. Polchow June 21, 1947 in Freeport and he died June 14, 1991.
She was a World War II Air force veteran.
Eileen was retired from J.C. Penny Co. in 1975 after 11 years of service.
She was a member of Our Savior Lutheran Church and the V.F.W. Auxiliary.
Surviving are special friends, Roger and Louise Nilles of Freeport and Dennis and Julie Nampel of Juneau, WI.
Her parents; husband; and brother preceded her in death.
Funeral service will be Monday 2 p.m. at Walker Mortuary with Reverend Paul Learman of Our Savior Lutheran Church officiating. Burial will be in the Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens.
Visitation will be Sunday 3 to 5 p.m. at Walker Mortuary.
A memorial has been established for Stephenson Nursing Center.
