Freeport-Elaine J. Veach, 80, of Freeport, died Monday, July 16, 2007, at the Manor Court in Freeport.
Born June 25, 1927 in Freeport she was the daughter of Leon and Mabel (Fitzgerald) Wilson.
She graduated Orangeville High School in 1945.
She married Charles Veach in 1946 in Freeport. They lived in Rock Grove for 37 years before moving to Freeport.
Surviving is her husband, Charles of Freeport; one daughter, Patricia (Charles) Foutch of Rockford; one son, E. Scott Veach of Freeport; Grandson, Garry Foutch of Loves Park; Granddaughter, Michelle Foutch of Rockford; great granddaughter, Tina Foutch of Loves Park; sister in-law, Florence Faull of Freeport; half sisters in-laws, Helen (Jim) Conklin of Long Island, New York, Virginia (Robert) Keister of Freeport, and Donna Veach of Rockford; brother in-law, Kirt Lamb of Lanark; half brothers in-law, Louis Veach of Freeport and Albert (Grace) Veach of Glen Burnie, Maryland; her dear nieces and nephews; and special cousins.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her sister, Kathleen Wilson; sisters in-laws, Marion Walker, Alice Lamb, and Judith Veach; brothers in-laws, John Veach, Robert Mellin, Elbert Faull, and Glenn Walker.
Funeral service will be Thursday 10 a.m. at Walker Mortuary with Reverend Don Jamerson of First Free Methodist Church officiating. Burial will be in the Rock Gove Union Cemetery.
Visitation will be Wednesday 4 to 7 p.m. at Walker Mortuary.
