FREEPORT: Eleanor A. Holland, 92, of Freeport died Monday February 22, 2010 at her home. Born August 31, 1917 in Freeport she was the daughter of Roy W. and Emma (Harbsmeier) Smith. She married Earl T. Holland and he preceded her in death in 1964. Eleanor worked for the Freeport Journal Standard and also for Newell Company in her latter years she was a at home care giver. She was a member of Jolly 17'ers and for the past several years she was there acting President, she was also a member of the Stephenson County Home Extension
