Eleanor Mae Pflugh, 83, of Durand passed into the presence of her Lord Tuesday, April 15, 2014 at Parkview Home in Freeport. Born February 2, 1931 in Natrona Heights, PA she was the daughter of Joseph and Catherine (Barker) Mohr. On September 26, 1949 she and Elmer W. Pflugh were united in marriage. He preceded her in death in 1999. She attended the Winneshiek Evangelical Free Church in rural Freeport. She is survived by her children Gerald (Cathy) Pflugh of Westfield, IN, Susan (Dewaine) Ried of Cave Creek, AZ, Patty (Tom) Schoonhoven of Davis; six grandchildren Raechelle, Melissa, Jason, Anne, Meghan, Joseph; six great grandchildren; one sister Rosemary Casselman of Pittsburgh, PA. Preceding her in death were her parents and husband. Funeral service will be 11 a.m. Saturday, April 19, 2014 at the Winneshiek Evangelical Free Church, 3842 E. Winneshiek Rd. Freeport with Reverend John McIntosh officiating. Visitation will be Saturday from 10 a.m. until the time of the service at church. Cremation rites will be accorded following the service and burial of her remains will be at the Veterans National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona in Phoenix.
