Elizabeth Buttke, 93 of Davis died Monday August 10, 2009 at the University Hospital in Madison, WI. Born April 7, 1916 at Lone Rock, WI she was the daughter of Edward and Alice Hartwig. She married Floyd Buttke in 1935. He preceded her in death. Elizabeth worked many years for Oaktron Industries and Swiss Colony in Monroe for many years. She enjoyed word puzzles and gardening. She is survived by two daughters Sharon Mulligan, Karen McGinley both of Friendship, WI; three sons Nathan (Joanne) Buttke of Lincoln, Nebraska, Charles (Eileen) Buttke of Juda, WI; Floyd Jr. (Patty) Buttke of Atwater, CA; 14 grandchildren, 24 great grandchildren, 3 great great grandchildren; one sister Jeanette (Carroll) Lisney of Davis.
She is preceded in death by her husband, 2 sisters Adeline Mahle, Helen Broge, 3 brothers Edward, Charlie and Bernard.
Visitation will be Saturday August 15, 2009 at 10:00 am at Daughenbaugh Funeral Home 115 S. West St. Dakota, IL. Funeral service will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday at Daughenbaugh Funeral Home. Burial will be in the Frankenberger Cemetery rural Rock Grove.
