Obituary

Cedarville-Elmer Vincent "Vince" Oswald, died Sunday, February 13, 2005, at FHN Memorial Hospital.
Born August 18, 1925 in Juda, Wisconsin he was the son of Elmer T. and Eva (Worley) Oswald. He married Ruth M. Popp May 10, 1952.
He worked for Marchesi Auto Sales, then Cheeseman Construction, and then the Illinois State Highway Authority.
An avid sportsman he loved cars, hunting, trapping, and fishing.
He is survived by his wife, Ruth of Cedarville; daughters, Teresa K. (Scott) Yount of Cedarville and Gloria (Steve) Hammel of Monroe, Wisconsin; brother, James W. (Marlene) Oswald of Freeport; 2 grandchildren, Melissa (Scott) Byrne of Apple River and Scott R. Yount of Cedarville; 1 great grandchild, Saige Yount.
His parents; infant son; 2 sisters, Leila and Norma; and his brother, Robert preceded him in death.
Funeral service will be Friday 10:30 a.m. at Walker Mortuary with Reverend Lyle Babcock officiating. Burial will be in the Cedarville Cemetery.
Visitation will be Thursday 4 to 7 p.m. at Walker Mortuary.
A memorial has been established in his name.
