Elvina Louise "Toss" Hutchison, 91, of Freeport, died Saturday, September 17, 2011, at Stephenson Nursing Center.
Born July 30, 1920 in Freeport she was the daughter of Ben and Alvina (Huenefeld) Crosby. She married Wayne Hutchison June 29, 1962. He died April 30, 2007.
Surviving are her sons, Randall (Carolyn) Pitterle of Rockford, David (Cindy) Pitterle of Roscoe, and Michael (Beth) Hutchison of Freeport; her step-children, Jim (Carol) Hutchison, Jane Christianson, David M. Hutchison all from Seattle, WA, Judith Hutchison of Canada, Tim (Margo) Bainbridge of Chicago; 1 sister, Cheryl Peck of South Carolina; several grandchildren and great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; 1 daughter, Mary Lou Miller; and her brothers and sisters.
Cremation rites have been accorded.
Memorial service will be 10:30 a.m. Thursday, September 22, 2011 at St. Mary's Catholic Church. Visitation will be 9:30 a.m. until time of service at the church on Thursday .
