Emily Dewey departed this earthly life on October 17, 2023.  She was born on August 16, 1973.  Emily was one of the most selfless women you could ever meet.  Emily fiercely loved and protected those around her and while she had no biological children of her own, she spent her life caring for everyone elses.  From Grace Academy to Sunrise Bus driving, Emily was an angel given to this world.  She was a part of the village it takes to care for the children of this community.

In Emily's final days she talked about all the things she wished she done different but to know Emily is to know that she gave her all.  She went above and beyond and to have had 50 years on this earth she touched and changed so many lives.  In no way did she fall short in love for others.  Emily is survived by many blood and adopted family.

Although saying our final 'see you later' is hard, knowing that she is at peace, in a body that no longer hurts, in a mind at peace to be surrounded by her Mother, Father and other family who left before her, we celebrate her life and the memories we have left behind.
