Emily M. Havlik, 82, of Freeport, originally of Stickney, died Sunday, April 20, 2008, at Provena St. Joseph Nursing Center.
Born July 7, 1925 in Berwyn she was the daughter of Stella Dehmlow. She married Richard Havlik February 10, 1944 and he died in March of 1999.
Surviving is her daughter, Sandy (Gary) Monigold of Freeport; her sons Richard A. (Debbie) Havlik of Lavalle, Wisconsin and Barry Havlik of Chicago; 4 grandchildren, Richard Havlik Jr., James and Daniel Monigold, and Dustin Havlik; 4 great grandchildren, Tyler, Griffin, Shyanna, and Lilia Monigold.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; and 2 brothers.
Graveside services and burial will be held Friday 11 a.m. at the Mt. Auburn Memorial Park Cemetery in Stickney.
There will be no visitation.
