Emma Rose Sincock, 90, of Freeport died Tuesday, March 3, 2015 at Stephenson Nursing Center in Freeport. Born March 31, 1924 in Darlington, WI she was the daughter of Jacob and Emma (Nyfler) Ischi. Emma was a graduate of Darlington High School and University of Wisconsin Platteville. On March 27, 1951 she and Edward H. Sincock were united in marriage at Immanuel United Church of Christ in Darlington, WI. For many years she taught grade school in Shullsburg, WI and then at Freeport Berean Baptist School. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Freeport. Surviving are her husband of Freeport; daughter Jeanette (Pastor Stephen) Terpstra of La Crosse, WI; sister Alice Jeglum, of New Glarus, WI. Preceding her in death were her parents and two sisters. Committal service will be Friday, March 6, 2015 at 8:45 a.m. with Pastor Stephen Terpstra officiating at Scales Mound Cemetery. Memorial service will be 11:30 a.m. Friday at First Baptist Church in Freeport with Pastor Alan Cassel of Baileyville Baptist Church and Pastor John McIntosh of Winneshiek Evangelical Free Church officiating followed by a luncheon at the church. A memorial has been established in her name.
