Esther M. Eichenberger, 89, of Janesville, Wisconsin, formerly of Davis, died Sunday, January 23, 2011 at Harbor House Assisted Living in Janesville, Wisconsin.
Born November 1, 1921 in Janesville, Wisconsin she was the daughter of Carl and Martha (Gross) Zimmerman.
She married Royal Eichenberger and he preceded her in death. Later she married Jack Snook who also preceded her in death.
She was a 1937 graduate of Darlington (WI) High School.
She and her husband, Royal, operated the former Davis Cheese Factory.
Surviving is her daughter, Shirley Eichenberger of Janesville, Wisconsin; several nieces and nephews, including her nephew, Dennis Snook of Janesville, Wisconsin.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and both husbands.
Funeral service will be Thursday 11 a.m. at the Daughenbaugh Funeral home in Dakota, Illinois.
Visitation will be Thursday 10 a.m. until time of service at the funeral home.
Burial will be in Twelve Mile Grove Cemetery in Pecatonica.
A memorial has been established in her name.
