Eudocia "Dotty" Goeke, 82, of Dakota died Wednesday, July 11, 2012 at FHN Memorial Hospital in Freeport. Born March 16, 1930 in Seward, she was the daughter of George M. and Eudocia (Hanson) Crull. Dotty was a 1948 graduate of Dakota High School. On April 11, 1950 she and Reginald Goeke were united in marriage at the Dakota Community Presbyterian Church in Dakota. She and her husband have been farming in the Dakota area for many years. She was a member of the Dakota Community Presbyterian Church and was active in the Ever-ready Circle, sang in the choir and taught Sunday School for many years. Surviving are her husband Reginald of Dakota, children Kathy (Larry) Callahan of Annapolis, MD, Andrew (Joan) Goeke of Ridott, Mark (Mary) Goeke of Dakota, David (Valerie) Goeke of Dakota, Elizabeth (Tom) Sorn of Rock City, Nola (William) Woessner of Shannon, Evelyn (Jack) Lister of Edgwood, IA, James (Lori) Goeke of Dakota, Paul (Lisa) Goeke of Rock Grove; 26 grandchildren, 2 step grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren, 5 step great grandchildren; two brothers Charles (Pat) Crull of Pueblo, CO, Glenwood (JoAnn) Crull of Winnebago; many nieces and nephews. Preceding her in death were her parents, one grandson Christopher Goeke, three sisters Naomi Lambke, Marie Asche, Dorothy Plager, two brothers George and Gilbert Crull. Visitation will be 4pm until 8pm Friday at Daughenbaugh Funeral Home, Dakota.
