HEBER SPRINGS, Ark. - Eva N. Miller, 90, of Heber Springs, formerly of Freeport, died Thursday, Oct. 26, 2006, at Baptist Health Center in Heber Springs. Born April 2, 1916, in Monroe, Wis., she was the daughter of Joseph and Eva (Swartzlow) Jones. In 1934 she married Clyde Edwin Miller, and he preceded her in death in 1978. Eva worked at Micro Switch for over 20 years and was a member of First Lutheran Church in Freeport until she moved to Heber Springs and joined the Heber Springs Christian Church. She is survived by one son, Edwin Miller of Heber Springs; one daughter, Dorothy Luettig of Shabbona; four grandchildren, Steven Miller of Mansfield, Ohio, Bryan Miller of Heber Springs, Diane Lizer of Dekalb, and Arlene Bates of Byron, Minn.; 11 great-grandchildren; and many friends. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband and two sisters. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Walker Mortuary with the Rev. Neville Kretzmann of First Lutheran Church officiating. Burial will be in Grandview Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Monday at Walker Mortuary. A memorial has been established for the Stephenson County Senior Center.
