Evelyn P. Dworak, 95, of Bourbonnais, formerly of Freeport, died Monday, February 29, 2016, at Presence Our Lady of Victory in Bourbonnais.
Bon March 6, 1920 in Onarga she was the daughter of Edward and Florence (Barnard) Empey. She married Bruno Dworak April 3, 1970 and he died November 15, 1997.
She worked for Montgomery Ward and Neurt & Associates both in Chicago retiring in 1975.
After her retirement she and Bruno moved to Warren, IL where they pursued their hobbies of buying and reselling antiques, gardening and traveling. She moved to Freeport in 1998 and in her later years moved to Kankakee to be closer to her niece.
She is survived by her nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; 2 sisters and 2 brothers.
Funeral service will be 1 p.m. Saturday, March 12, 2016 at Walker Mortuary.
