Obituary
Freeport-Evelyn L. Homan, 85, of Freeport, died Friday, April 13, 2007, at St. Anthony Hospital in Rockford.
Born April 25, 1921 in Freeport she was the daughter of George and Lottie (Klenz) Rinehart. She married Chester Homan Sr. June 27, 1944.
She was a Bookkeeper with SS Kresges (which is now Kmart).
Surviving is her husband, Chester Homan Sr. of Freeport; one son, Chester Homan Jr. of Peoria, AZ; three sister-in-laws, Florence Busjahn, Verda Fryer, and Jeannette Pamling all of Lena.
She was preceded in death by her parents; one sister; and four brothers.
Funeral service will be Monday 2 p.m. in the Chapel of Peace at Oakland Cemetery & Mausoleum
A memorial has been established in her name.
