Freeport-Evelyn J. Littlejohn, 54, of Freeport, died Saturday, November 4, 2006, at FHN Memorial Hospital.
Born September 27, 1952 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania she was the daughter of Perry Carl and Ella B. (Carethers) Scott.
Evelyn was a chef for local restaurants and her family.
Surviving are four daughters, Kimberly Scott of Freeport, Evelyn Scott Jr. of Aurora, Launa Littlejohn and Brittney Littlejohn both of Freeport; 1 sister, Denise Nixon of Virginia; 4 brothers, Emmit Scott and Ruben Scott Both of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, William Carethers of North Carolina, and Desi Scott of New Jersey; 4 grandchildren with two on the way; as well as a number of spiritual brothers and sisters.
Memorial service will be Saturday 3 p.m. at Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses.
Visitation will be Friday 3 to 7 p.m. at Walker Mortuary.
