Freeport- Evelyn C. Molter
Evelyn C. Molter, 88, of Freeport died Tuesday May 3, 2005 at FHN Memorial Hospital.
She was born June 16, 1916 in Freeport she was the daughter of John Albert and Ida Marie (Rumelhagen) Molter.
For many years she worked for Kraft Foods in Freeport and then in Chicago. She also worked in the office of Sears Tower until her retirement in 1981.
Evelyn was a life long member of Bethany United Church of Christ.
She is survived by four nieces; Veneta Agney, Lois Greenfield both of Freeport, Julie Molter of Chicago, Shirley Vicks of Sabula, IA; One sister-in-law, Margery Molter of Lombard; and several great nieces and nephews.
Preceding her in death are her parents, four sisters Gladys, Inez, Marian, Belva and one brother John Albert Jr.
Visitation will be Saturday from 9:30 until the time of the service at 11:00 a.m. at Bethany United Church of Christ.
Funeral service will be Saturday 11:00 a.m. Saturday at Bethany United Church of Christ with the Reverend Jim Brown officiating.
A memorial fund has been established in her name for Bethany United Church of Christ and the Friends Forever Humane Society.
