Everett Joseph "Ted" Huenefeld, 62, of Freeport, died Wednesday, June 29, 2011 at FHN Memorial Hospital.
Born February 22, 1949 in Freeport he was the son of Joseph and Lavina (Veer) Huenefeld. He married Tina Babcock on August 24, 1973.
Ted worked for the City of Freeport, Freeport Disposal, owned and operated Lee's Trucking, and retired from Service Master.
Ted loved horses all his life.
Surviving are his wife, Tina of Freeport; 2 daughters, Peggy Huenefeld of Freeport and Jody Huenefeld of Akron, Ohio; 1 son, Ted Huenefeld of Freeport; 10 grandchildren; 3 sisters, Carol (Todd) Hull of Monroe, Wisconsin, Lois (Zack) Manshower of Hanover, and Joann Huenefeld of Broadhead, Wisconsin; 5 brothers, Jerome "Dick" (Sue) Huenefeld of Freeport, LeRoy Huenefeld of Lanark, Joseph (Cherry) Huenefeld and Randy Huenefeld both of Freeport, Tracy Huenefeld of New Hampshire; numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents and 1 granddaughter, Aaliyah Dickens.
There will be a visitation from 10 a.m. until 12 noon Saturday, July 2, 2011 at Walker Mortuary.
There will be no funeral service.
In lieu of flowers a memorial has been established.
