Florence P. Craig, 103 of Ridott passed away Sunday, Oct. 21, 2012 at the home of her daughter Linda Wilhelms. She was born Feb. 20, 1909 the daughter of George and Mazie "May" (Royer) Swartz.
On Oct. 21, 1929 she married Kenneth Craig at Rockford, IL. He preceded her in death on Feb. 7, 1977.
Florence was a homemaker and did babysitting for many years.
Survivors include two daughters, Marilyn Schock of Seward and Linda (Gale) Wilhelms of Ridott and one son Wayne (Lydia) Craig of Freeport. a daughter-in-law, Phyllis Craig of Ridott. There are 11 grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren and 18 great great grandchildren.
Preceding her in death were her parents; Husband; two sons, one in infancy and Allen Craig; one grandson, one great great granddaughter; two daughters-in-law; one son-in-law; two brothers, one during WW2; one Sister and a very dear friend, Dan Hansen.
She was an avid sports fan and because of failing eyesight would listen to her favorite team, the Cubs and also local high school football games.
