Florence Erdmier 89, passed away peacefully at home on Saturday, September 28, 2024.

She was born in 1935 in the month of June, which was a perfect reflection of her personality. She was warm with a cheerful smile for everyone, full of life, and always ready for a new adventure. She attended school and graduated in the same town where she was born Shannon, Illinois.

Florence attended church at The Freeport First Baptist Church, where she could fulfill her first and foremost passion of serving Jesus, she enjoyed teaching the children and encouraging them in her kind and uplifting way. Another of her passions was sewing. She could sew anything and everything beautifully, no challenge was too big for Florence and her trusty sewing machine. She also enjoyed traveling and had quite the adventurer's heart even white water rafting in her late sixties after retiring from Economy Insurance after forty-two years of loyal service.

Florence was preceded in death by her parents and all her siblings.

There will not be a funeral at this time. Florence, in her selfless spirit, donated her body to science via the Anatomical Gift Association in Chicago, Illinois.
