Savoy, Il - Florine Louise Buss, 90, of Savoy, formerly of Freeport, died Sunday, August 6, 2006, at her home in Saboy.
Born December 23, 1915 in Kiester, Minnesota she was the daughter of Michael and Hattie (Gottberg) Schobert. She married Wilbur L. Buss June 2, 1941 and he died May 16, 1990.
Florine worked for Monroe Chevrolet and Heiser Music Store.
She was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church and their Concordia Society.
Surviving is her son, William M. (Carol) Buss; 2 granddaughters, Emily and Nora Buss all of Urbana; two brothers, Albert Schobert of Blue Earth, Minnesota and Harry (Donna) Schobert of Albert Lea, Minnesota; four sisters, Margaret Raines of Petoskey, Michigan, Laura (Marvin) Bonn of Seminole, Florida, Geraldine (Eugene) Gansmoe and Audrey (George) Myers both of Blue Earth, Minnesota.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; and 3 sisters.
Funeral service will be Thursday 11 a.m. at Immanuel Lutheran Church with Reverend Willis Schwichtenberg officiating. Burial will be in the Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens.
Visitation will be Thursday 10 a.m. until time of service at the church.
