Francine Sarb, 82, of Freeport, died Wednesday December 2, 2009 at the Whitehall of Deerfield Nursing Home in Deerfield, IL.
Born October 26, 1927 in Goodman, Wisconsin she was the daughter and only child of Donald and Marie (Milos) Jacobson. She married Gordon Lee Sarb July 26, 1952 and he died March 10, 2007.
She was a member of St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church.
Surviving are two daughters, Susan (Wayne Rudis) Sarb of Highland Park and Mary (Tom Flynn ) Sarb of Chicago; grandchildren, Kathryn, Neil, and Michael Rudis of Darien, Illinois.
Funeral mass will be Saturday, December 12, 2009, 1:30 p.m. at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church with the Msgr. P. William McDonnell officiating.
There will be a gathering at St. Thomas on Saturday 12:30 p.m. until time of service at the church.
Burial will be in the Calvary Cemetery in Freeport.
A memorial has been established for St Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church.
