Dakota – Francis A. Wise, 89 of Dakota passed away peacefully at home with her family at her side.  She was born to Elmer J. and Minnie (Krause) Anderson Sr. on October 31, 1933.  She married, Ivan Wise on April 3, 1954 and together they built a life and raised a family.

Francis was a proud homeowner and she enjoyed gardening, working in her yard, and showing sheep and cattle when she and Ivan were on the farm.  In her day she was a pretty good softball player too.  She was a member of the Dakota Presbyterian church and all of her grandchildren completed "Grandma's School" as they were growing up learning all kinds of skills from her.

She is survived by her children, Debra (Roger) Brinkmeier of Lena; Todd (Laura) Wise of Freeport and Frank (Kristina) Wise of St. Cloud, FL as well as her sister, Charmaine (John) Niesman of Lake Placid, FL; her brother, Elmer John Anderson Jr of Dakota and also a close family friend, Teresa Knipschield of Red Oak, IL.  Her legacy includes 9 grandchildren Mathew Wise, Alex Wise, Stephanie Wise, Eric Wise, Jennifer Wise, Aaron Wise, Dirk Brinkmeier, Evan Brinkmeier and Luke Brinkmeier; 2 step grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren and 4 step great grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband and 2 great granddaughters, Emmalee Ann and Cassandra Hope Wise.
