Obituary

Freeport-Frank Hay Pentecost, 68, of Freeport, died Saturday, April 21, 2007, at his home.
Born October 1, 1938 in Memphis, Tennessee, a resident of Calhoun County, Alabama, he was the son of Frank H. and Ida Louise (Hay) Pentecost. Frank married Laura Sanders Ingram March 8, 1968 in Jacksonville, Alabama.
He attended Alabama schools and was a graduate of Auburn University in Auburn, Alabama
Frank worked for Good Year Tire & Rubber Company for 39 years.
Member First United Methodist Church in Pearl City.
Surviving is his wife, Laura of Freeport; children, Kimberly (Francisco) Ramirez of Rockford, Frank E. Pentecost of Freeport, Kelly (Kenny) McAdams of Pelham, Alabama; four grandchildren brother, William M. (Carolyn) Pentecost of Dixon, Tennessee; and two nieces.
Frank was preceded in death by his parents.
Cremation rites have been accorded.
Memorial services will be Wednesday 3 p.m. at the First United Methodist Church in Pearl City with Reverend Doug Carroll officiating.
Friends may visit the family Wednesday 2 p.m. until time of service at the church in Pearl City.
Internment of his cremated remains will be in the Green Lawn Memorial Gardens in Jacksonville, Alabama.
Memorials have been established for St. Jude's Children Hospital and First United Methodist Church in Pearl City.
