Freeport-Gary Lee Herman, 61, of Freeport, died Tuesday, July 5, 2005, at FHN Memorial Hospital.
Born December 05, 1943 in Freeport he was the son of Wendolyn and Beulah (Lee) Herman.
Gary worked with the Freeport Housing Authority in Freeport.
Surviving are his daughters, Heather Herman of Monticello, Wisconsin and Chaya (James) Scott of England; 1 sister, Nancy Goff of Charlotte, Iowa; 2 grandchildren, Kaleb Herman and Drake Scott; and his long anticipated granddaughter who will be born on July 12, 2005 , Madeline Scott.
His parents and stepfather preceded him in death.
His committal service and burial will be Wednesday 3 p.m. in the Chapel of Peace at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens.
Visitation will be Wednesday 2 p.m. until 3 p.m. in the Chapel of Peace.
A memorial service will be held at a later date when his daughter returns from England.
A memorial has been established in his name.
