Gary Keller 82 of Galena, IL passed away on Friday April 5, 2024 at Serenity Hospice Home in Oregon, IL. He was born in Freeport, IL on February 1, 1942 to Lee & Rose Marie Keller.

Gary worked at Burgess in Freeport, IL for many years before retiring from Sauer Danfoss after 24 years. Had a tree farm in Jo Daviess County that he was very proud of. He enjoyed working outside on his land and in the last few years he would sit outside for hours and watch all of the animals that he fed every day.

He was preceded in death by his father and mother. He is survived by his sister Rosalie Keller German Valley, nephew John (Lisa) Keller of German Valley, Great niece Candace (Dalton) Vinnedge of Baileyville, Great Nephew Cody Keller of German Valley, and Great Great nieces and nephews.

Cremation rites have been accorded and there will be no services as per his wishes. The family will hold a private celebration of life at a later date on his land in Galena.  Condolences can be left for the family at www.walkermortuary.com
