Freeport-Gary L. Kubly, 63, of Freeport, died Friday, July 13, 2007 at his home with family and friends present.
Born September 20, 1943 in Freeport he was the son of LaVerne and Gertrude (Keller) Kubly. He married Lynda Marsh April 17, 1967 in Madison, Wisconsin.
Gary owned and operated A-1 Plumbing & Heating for over 25 years in Freeport.
His memberships included, Plumbers & Pipefitter's Union Local 23, member and Past Master of Evergreen Masonic Lodge; Scottish Rite Bodies, Tebala Shrine, Freeport Fishing Club, and Freeport Eagles Club.
He was a former assistant Boy Scout Master.
Surviving is his wife, Lynda; one son, Travis (Michelle) Kubly; one daughter, Tiffany (Kip) Kuhlemeier; two grandchildren, Megan and Asher Kubly; his mother in-law, Leila Marsh all of Freeport; and his adoring dog, Milli.
He was preceded in death by his parents and one infant brother.
Cremation rites have been accorded.
A celebration of his life will be at the Freeport Eagles Club on Saturday, July 21, 2007 at 2:30 p.m.
In lieu of flowers a memorial has been established in his name.
