Gary Evan Moore, 75, of Rockford, died Wednesday, December 3, 2014, at his home.
Born October 16, 1939 in Freeport he was the son of John Earl and Helen (Babcock) Moore. He married Mary Klentz in 1959.
Gary was a lifetime salesman working at Sears, K-Mart and Montgomery Wards.
Surviving are his wife, Mary of Rockford; his children, Melody (Brad) Jordan, Scott (Patti) Moore, and Kevin (Betty) Moore all of Freeport; one sister, Nancy (Wayne) Weier of Dakota; seven grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers.
Cremation rites have been accorded.
Interment of his cremated remains will be in the Lena Burial Park in Lena.
A memorial service will be 1:30 p.m. Saturday December 13, 2014 at Walker Mortuary, 321 W. Main Street, Freeport, Illinois.
Visitation will be Saturday 11 a.m. until time of service at Walker Mortuary.
In lieu of flowers a memorial has been established in his name.
